Our coffee story
At the Wise Coffee Co. our love for coffee is a family affair, and it all started with night time feeds and nappy changing. Caffeine was our saviour but we didn’t want to settle for boring blends and tasteless brews – we may have been tired, but our taste buds still worked; so, we decided to blend our own.
Being a family company, we wanted our coffee to share the same values as us – good, honest and straightforward. That’s why we try to only choose beans from sustainable sources and ethical farmers.
We’re based in a small Suffolk village, a long way from where our beans are sourced. But our selection process is tough and everything we deliver to you can be traced back to the fields and mountains where they grew. The small holdings and plantations we use are mainly family run co-operatives, with some of them dating back to the early 1900s. There’s an emphasis on organic growing, selective picking and natural drying techniques so you can be confident that your coffee’s coming from a good place (which we think makes it taste even better).
Our select blends and single origin coffees are designed to suit all tastes but we’ve got some big plans for the future and will be launching some locally themed coffees – so if you love your cup with a twist, then follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and we’ll keep you posted.
We’re excited to be on our coffee journey and want it to be a good one, so we’ll carry on supporting our independent coffee growers, as well as our local community right here in sleepy Suffolk – why not join us and find your perfect blend along the way.
